As a qualified, accredited counsellor/psychotherapist, I am interested in hearing how I can help you.
I value wisdom and work always with integrity and compassion. Each person is unique, so it is not possible to predict outcomes, but I have received many testimonials from people who have felt able to move forward to live more fulfilling lives after their therapy. One of the most frequent comments has been, "I'm seeing things differently now. You've helped me so much." This is because the client has gained perspective from talking to an impartial person - which is very different from talking to friends and family. One client phrased it as, "I felt as if a stream was blocked and now it's flowing again."
I work with both individuals and couples on a wide spectrum - from people wishing to enhance their lives (achieve their potential) to those struggling with greater difficulties, such as OCD (obsessive compulsive disorder) and manic depression/bi-polar disorder. There are many other problems people experience which are too vague to name (i.e.label/diagnose).
Whatever the difficulty, the unique individual may benefit from therapy to the point where their future relationships (of whatever kind) are more satisfactory.
I have many years'experience of working with couples (and how their individual difficulties may impact on the relationship). An impartial observer can really help in gaining perspective (is it me/is it him/her?). These questions can be usefully answered in therapy.
